Nicole Lozano

Nicole Lozano is a founding member of the Q Center. She is a counseling psychologist whose clinical work as a therapist has focused on gender expansive care and LGBTQ related concerns. Her work with the Q is focused on establishing a place for all to learn more about themselves and create a home for LGBTQ folks.

Irene Martinez

Irene is a founding member of Concho Valley Q Center and a dedicated straight ally driven by a simple belief: every child deserves to feel safe, seen, and celebrated for exactly who they are. Irene has committed herself to building a community where protection is a promise, not a privilege. Her work with the Q is rooted in the conviction that a community is only as strong as its most vulnerable members.

Steph Ellis-Dearborn

With 13 years in public education (12 of those being a band director and transitioning into the role of school counselor this year), Steph brings an important role as educator, advocate, and creative personality. Steph is a founding member of The Q and cannot wait to begin serving the members of this area and build some connections!

Jennie Wagner

Jennie is the founding Executive Director of The Q and a dedicated nonprofit professional with over five years of experience advancing advocacy and inclusion. Her work is deeply rooted in LGBTQ+ advocacy, and she has been instrumental in planning San Angelo Pride for the past two years. Jennie brings creativity, strategic leadership, and an unwavering commitment to equity, all informed by lived experience and a genuine passion for community-building.
